Elevator Pitch No. 1
I took a bit of a different approach to this assignment, and changed my "business idea" entirely (from what I've been talking about in previous assignments. I realized that a previous project I worked on, boat propeller sleeves to protect marine life, was a passion project, and that it deserves more attention than I gave it. Therefore, that idea is what I'm pitching.

Hi Emma! I think your elevator pitch was very direct and right to the point. It helps the audience know exactly what it is you are trying to promote at them with just the right amount of details, enough to let them decide whether your product is worthy. I can also tell by your tone how much you care about protecting manatees, but at the same time you also put thought into maintaining individual's boating experience.

ReplyDeleteI find your idea very interesting. I am from South Florida myself so both boating and seeing manatees are a common thing to me. I would be very interested to see something like this work. My commentary about your elevator pitch is that I think a good way to attract an audience's attention is to add a surprising statistic, something that isn't too hard to visualize in their head but also gets them to think about the magnitude of the issue. Good work!
